Tournament Solitaire is just like the normal solitaire but with Tournament scoring.
The object of the game is to build the four foundations (the foundations are the four outlines of cards in the top right- hand corner of the screen) up in ascending suit sequence from Ace to King with cards of identical suit.
The main rules are as follows. As each Ace becomes available it may be transferred to start one of the four foundations. The exposed card of a column may be transferred to a foundation of the same suit if it follows the ascending sequence. The cards must be of alternating colours, e.g. 6 hearts on 7 clubs. When a column is completely cleared out, the space may only be filled by a King.
When no more moves are available from the table, the top three cards from the stock are dealt face up. The top card is always available for play to the foundations or table. This procedure is continued until the game eventually blocks or is won.
The scoring system is:
Moving a card directly from the deck to the foundation- 5 pts
Moving a card directly from the table to the foundation- 5 pts
Moving a card from the deck to the table- 10 pts
Revealing and new card in a column- 5 pts
Redeal penalty, after your second redeal- Lose 20 pts
